I admit that I was a bit too ambitious in my thinking earlier about that big road trip. I've made a few trips to the states in the last 10 years, but all of those were to the Eastern USA. Of course it was a pleasure to meet you on one of those trips, and of course I met Jason a few times, and also attended his wedding.
I retired early, right at "Freedom 55", actually, and I don't regret my decision one bit. I don't miss the office politics or daily commute at all.
I'll try to be better about visiting the hyoerboard!

: You know, it seems like yesterday when you retired from your career and began your retirement and if I remember correctly I thought that was at age 55 for you.I recall you originally were planning on doing a long road trip that would have taken you into California.That never happened but sometimes we make big plans that we can't carry out.I look forward to my own retirement which is not far off.I feel at this stage of my life I'm tiring of working and the rat race.Not sure what retirement will look like for me but I'm thinking an exit from the east coast would be a part of that.
: Like you I'm grateful for having all my hair even though its not to my waist or longer.I love coloring it with henna which gives me a feeling of uniqueness.One of the pluses of henna is that I feel it makes me look younger than I am and I do like the color frankly.I'm happy your enjoying your retirement and life in general as that's really what most of us want eventually.Yes, next month I turn 55 which is kind of sobering.I look back at old photos of myself in my 20s and 30s and wonder where the time went.Oh well better stop when I'm ahead. lol. As always I'm grateful to have gotten to know you and even meet up once :)Keep the faith and please do make more appearances here my friend.Cheers
