Hi, everyone. I haven't posted in a while mostly because my hair has basically been the same length for a year. The ends were a mess after a couple of summers in the sun, swimming in rivers and biking, so I had a series of trims. I'm taking better care of it now, so hopefully it'll grow a few more inches.
Anyway. I've had some negative feedback lately. Mostly from one particular friend who seems obsessed with convincing me to cut my hair. She shows me "inspiration" photos of short hair and recently, when I had my hair up, she smiled big, then frowned when she realized it wasn't actually short, just up. She actually said, "Oh, I thought you cut your hair and I got excited." I'm not hanging out with her anymore.
I don't need the negativity, you know? It's so invasive. I'll never cut my hair short again, but it makes me feel bad. Why do people care so much, what other people do with their hair? Why can't they just be happy their friends are happy? I honestly don't get it.
