: : Oh, in case u guys didn't know-hairdryers can damage hair. My dryer has high heat, low heat and cool. So for years I would finger dry it with that dryer on high heat and switch to low heat as it dried and then just use cold air but my wavy hair still got damaged. Bill says wavy hair is not as strong as straight hair-I'm not sure how he knew that-so maybe that's not a problem for people with straight hair.

: Personally I use no hair dryers at all. I just let the hair air dry. I've always gone under the assumption that any heat from a hair dryer is bad for hair.

I had longhair when I was a teenager and always used a hairdryer and then my hair started breaking and getting all damaged at my shoulders. That was 30 years ago and then I cut everything and grew it back a couple years later & saw people on this site saying they were bad but thought I could get away with not drying it all the way with hairdryer settings and using my fingers but same problem and now my hair is damaged and breaking at shoulder length again.

Hairdryers are convenient, though, when u shower at night like me!

Marty
