I'm trying to let my hair air dry now, but it takes more than an hour and it's starting to get warm here so in the winter it may take twice as long. Since I take my shower before I go to bed, I really have to time things. Maybe I'll just start doing this in the mornings.

Is there a way to speed this up without the damaging effects of the hairdryer? Maybe sit in front of a window fan? I remember hair salons used to have these globe hairdryers that went over your entire head and dried it. Not sure if heat was involved and if it actually left all the hair oils there.
