: I'm trying to let my hair air dry now, but it takes more than an hour and it's starting to get warm here so in the winter it may take twice as long. Since I take my shower before I go to bed, I really have to time things. Maybe I'll just start doing this in the mornings.

: Is there a way to speed this up without the damaging effects of the hairdryer? Maybe sit in front of a window fan? I remember hair salons used to have these globe hairdryers that went over your entire head and dried it. Not sure if heat was involved and if it actually left all the hair oils there.

I've seen people wrapping their wet hair in a towel after a shower but never tried it. Reminds me of Ferris Bueller's Day Off! I found a guide for it and u do this for 10-20 minutes and then air dry your hair. They say to first put leave in conditioner in your hair and then put your head into a T-shirt and tie the sleeves at the nape of your neck. It's called plopping and picture guide attached.
