I had my mid back length hair cut back to shoulder length in December and now it's already to my shoulder blades. I dye it jet black (natural hair color is dark brown) but only dye the roots every few months to avoid any real damage; can't wait to see what another six months to a year will bring!
Also, I have been taking diatomaceous earth every day which is millions of years old sea fossils which turn into diatomaceous earth and it's 85% silica naturally which is great for hair. Biotin didn't seem to do anything for me and never noticed great growth with it unlike silica. After a few weeks of taking silica, I noticed my hair growing a little faster than it used to so that's how I knew it worked better than the biotin for me.
