I am thinking about trimming just to shorten my length. My hair length is past my belly button. I am thinking 2 to 4 inches. In the scope of life this is a trival decision and. I shouldn’t be that concerned.
My recommendation is: Don't do it!
If you were to trim your hair four (4) inches that is about eight (8) months of growth.
There is so much you can do with your hair that it would not be a inconvenience:
1. Braid you hair half the length of your hair, split the lower half of your hair into two (2) braids. You could tie the two (2) braids in front of you.
2. Make a big manbun.
3. Braid your hair its entire length. Hide your braid under the back of your shirt while you are at work and/or school and for times when you want to keep your hair out of the way. After these times you still have your hair to do with what you want and to simply let it flow freely.
I would not cut your hair.
