The image on the left shows my hair as of today. Last July I had my hair cut to its shortest length that it had been for many years. It was just long enough to get it all back into a ponytail tie. It was a fun change but I haven't had it cut since and am considering returning to the length shown in the picture on the right. That looks to be at least a year's worth of growth to get back there. I have had it much longer than that before but it's harder to keep the ends healthy.
I wish my hair was of coarse texture but it's fine and therefore prone to damage. There are only so many ways to wear it. I think if I kept it at the length shown to the right, I could keep the ends healthy.
