: I've had pretty long hair now for about five years. But for the most part, I tied it back in a ponytail. I decided for 2 months straight I'm not allowed to use any hair ties. first thing I noticed is that it began to change my physiology, and my life in subtle ways.

: For starters, I begin to have these kind of symptoms.

: * Random anger
: * forgetfullness
: * lack of motivation
: * mental fog... etc..

I've had long hair since 1964 and i've noticed none of those symptoms when my hair is down. The only thing i've noticed is, even though I prefer to have my hair down it's more susceptable to damage. So i've cut back on how long the hair is down,
so now the majority of time it's in a pony tail/braid/bun/pig tail to prevent damage. I hate not having it loose all the time
but I also hate the damaged ends I ended up with. It ended up that on an annual basis I hade to chop off about six to eight inches of growth the clean up the ends. I wanted the hair long but I also wanted ends that looked good.

* Random anger Nope
* forgetfullness Nope
* lack of motivation Nope
* mental fog Nope.
