Are you going for longer this time or the same length? You have similar wavy hair as mine...I found out a long time ago on this board that the best way to style wavy hair is either finger combing or a pick because most brushes (boars hair is the only exception) will make it frizzy and puffy. More length will make it straighter also as it gets heavier. In fact right now my hair is so short that I just have curls which smooth out as it gets longer and then it's wavy. I used to blow dry my hair straighter but then my hair gets damaged...I'm air drying now and getting near the hat phase.
