"The only color the homosexuals do not use to signal each other in the United States is flourescant green. So, be careful picking out bandanna colors so as not to send the wrong signal. "

Excuse me, but WTF?

1) The number of gays in 2019 that know or abide by the hanky code/colors/meanings is minuscule. This motion of signally each other is about is outdated as getting the "gay ear" pierced.

2) The hanky color green gives illusions that one is a hustler or seeking a hustler. Lime green implies who will pay for dinner. If someone still observes the hanky code, I doubt fluorescent green is subtle enough for all but the most observant kinkster.

3) Since this bandana is presumably on your head and not your back pocket, you really aren't following the hanky code at all, so shouldn't worry about inadvertently signally any homosexuals.

In the long winded explanation of culture and head bands you state "What is not disrespectful is getting to know the culture from which the headband comes," in which case I think the same is true in your comments on how homosexuals "signal each other." It is not disrespectful to learn more about it before commenting.
