The orchard ladders are so safe to use with the wide base. Especially on uneven ground full of gopher holes. I only use the conventional fiber glass ladders on pavement or decks. I also use the orchard ladders for construction, and especially painting. I used both types of ladders building the greenhouse on pavers in the photo.
