Thanks Val! For now I'm going to post updates about every two months. Once I get to the point of having long-ish hair I might post more often, but right now there's not much to see ;)

Thanks Leapy! I trimmed around my ears and in the back to try to keep my hair a little neater looking during the initial grow-out phase. I'm starting an internship for my grad-school program next week and want to look less-shaggy, at least at the start of it. After a while there won't be much I'll be able to do with my hair, it tends to flip out and grow wings once it gets to about 6-8 months so hopefully by then I'll be too entrenched in my internship for them to care if my hair is a little wild!
