Hi Guys. I'm new here, I always prefer the short hair (even shaved) but I think it´s time to try something diferent.
As you say, give it a try. You might need to think of some motivation and question of self-identity so that you can get through the "awkward stage". It will take two to three years for your hair to reach any length that would be called "long hair". If you are serious about it, take it day by day and keep us posted.

I'm glad that you have decided to try long hair. I would guess that it is something you have been thinking about for a while.
I hope that you will experience a growing excitement about being a long hair as your hair grows and passes one (1) milestone after another. You will feel your hair moves independently from you. I hope that you will come to think of yourself as a long haired guy and that being a long hair is part of who you are; that without long hair you are not completely you.
