on the banks of the Mokelumne River, deep in the canyon.
I wasn't planning on taking hair pictures, so the condition wasn't the best...but the light was very nice!
Great scenery. Your hair looks great. It is so thick, no sign of splitends. And the length is awesome. I am sure lots of people envy you :)
You seem to be a genetical lottery winner.
Cheers
Hard to go wrong when you have granite, water, and light!
Lots of split ends, given how long it has been since my last serious S&D mission, probably 10% of the longest hairs are split or visibly damaged. Coarse hair hides a multitude of sins.
From my mom, yes, I got a very fine selection of numbers in the long hair lottery. I always wonder what lengths she could have reach if she had ever chosen to grow long...
Hey Trolleypup,
Your hair looks awesome!
Raymond
Thank you! Not quite sure how light and hair conspired to work together decently this night.
Thanks! I only took this one shot from this angle because I almost fell off the rock when trying to adjust position...luckily, got the shot!
Hi Trolleypup,
Wow! Your hair and the view are absolutely stunning! I thank you for the inspiration to keep growing! And I sure am happy to hear you didn't fall off that rock!

Your hair looks super, Robert. The light was perfect for that photo. The water in that river looks really deep. I am guessing 5 or 6 meters in depth. Is this way up on the mountains? It sure is a beautiful place.

Yes, the deepest parts are probably deeper than 5-6m, this is the beginning of a long flat "pool" in between cascades, a few feet downstream it is bedrock shore to shore!
Bottom of the Mokelumne River canyon north of Lake Alpine, elevation about 5300'. Map link below.
Just across the river from Camp Ireneyour hair photos are always an inspiration
