Hi everyone,
I'm checking in with another update, 64 Months. I've made it to butt length over the past few months, so time to celebrate! Haha
Thank you for posting your updates, it's nice to see fellow longhairs on their journeys. Keep it growing :)
Cheers
Philip
Hey Philip, loved your video and of course the still pic as well.I have to say between you and Trolleypup both of you display epic hair lengths. Not all of us can achieve that but still very inspirational.Thank you for your contribution to the board:)Cheers

Thanks Mârk! I'm glad and thankful that I can have this length and I want to grow it out longer. Let's see where the journey goes :)
Looking good!
Hey PhilipZ,
Awesome hair, dude!
Keep it growing. I hope that you are going for terminal length.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
Hi Raymond,
thank you! :) I wonder if I am determined enough to go for terminal length, because I feel that there are more and more restrictions as the hair grows longer. Also I am trimming the ends for damage, that would change my terminal length i guess. I'll keep you updated. Keep it growing!
Philip
I think the key for reaching terminal is finding an easy way of keeping it up and out of the way when you don't want it down.
As for the trims, it won't change your terminal length, just how fast you get there. If you have the patience, S&D is good.
Hi Trolleypup,
I actually never thought of it that way but it makes sense! Thank you, I'll try to do S&D more often.
Cheers,
Philip

Hi Philip,
I have begun to get my hair trimmed once a month. My stylist, Bekah cuts about a quarter of an inch. in order to cut away the split ends and to facilitate growth. I want to go for terminal length. I find your hair impressive and simply gorgeous. Your appearance is majestic and sovereign. Do you have any tips for me so that I might have hair such as yours?
Raymond
Hi Raymond,
thank you for your kind words! I'm not sure if I can give you good tips, but I think the basics are no heat, no cuts, if it is possible trim even less, ideally search and destroy only the damaged ends. Be gentle with it when detangling and try washing less frequently, I roughly wash once every 5 days. I put coconut oil on the ends every day. I also heard that nutrition plays a role, so the best thing is a lot of unprocessed food (however, I eat a lot of junk food too) and a relaxed, healthy lifestyle.
I'm going for natural products, less is more, so I was using a sulfate free shampoo for a long time, but now I'm a big fan of Aleppo soap. It's the best thig ever because it makes the hair feel soft and it's gentle with the scalp.
I think that's pretty much it and of course the wait! haha. Thanks again for your nice words! I hope this helps,
cheers,
Philip
The video is beautiful, as is your magnificent long hair. Where is that gorgeous landscape?
Thank you, Marco! It was in a local park.
