I think you're gonna like what he has to say.
I find this fellow intriguing, though I am unconvinced by his arguments for occultism as opposed to a traditional religion. I above all discovered him through his talks on politics (and the recent American election) from an "alt-right" point of view. However, his reflections on this subject of masculinity and long hair are interesting.
His name is Tarl Warwick, he lives in Vermont and is described here in Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarl_Warwick
He has written a lot of books and I admire his ability to talk on various subjects. He merits our attention.
I like him and find him very open-minded and agree with much of what he has to say.he's well educated, articulate and knowledgeable on the facts.
Unfortunately he's on his way out of the Wikipedia:
"Strong Delete, no published sources and unimportant youtuber. 20 November 2016 (UTC)"
And I suspect it is probably because of his political views which I won't elaborate on here.
I suggest saving the page to your computer.
And I suspect it is probably because of his political views which I won't elaborate on here.
I have seen some recent videos in which he positively supports the more extreme European nationalist parties. I personally am not inclined to have any contact with Mr Warwick, especially in view of these far-right ideas and his interest in the occult, not academically, but as a primary philosophy of life.
Red lights shine brightly in spite of this young man's intelligence and articulate speech. One must be careful and critical.

Sorry, Anthony, but I will have to disagree
what you are referring to "far-right" is probably center-right
and I have not watched all of his videos , but do not see him as any white supremacist type if that is what you are hinting at.
sorry , to be a bit political in this post, but Merkel has got to go and I think Germany, France and the Netherlands definitely need to vote someone in to the right of center.
that's all I will mention on this topic
I want to be very careful about what I say, but a new narrative is emerging out of the traditional argument between conservatives and socialists: that of a popular reaction against the professional political class that no longer represents democracy, freedom for all and the common good. I am not a Trump fan (nor am I American), but he does (or appears to) represent a revolution against a self-serving establishment.
I do begin to see that the goalposts are moving, and everything is changing. This is what can make everything so dangerous. I agree that the various figures in Europe seeking election are not Nazis or Fascists, and seek to break the present system that is stifling us.
I support something that will bring change, break the inevitable nature of some kind of 1984 type surveillance society and enable ordinary people like you and I to live dignified lives. It is frightening, because we cant see what is coming. Everything is new and unprecedented. It is tempting to hide behind Establishment ideologies, but they are killing us.
I too will avoid the subject of politics here, because there is no one truth, and there is already enough conflict in this world.
Anthony
I really love your response, Anthony. I am an American and not a Trump supporter, but I understand that people who voted for him were voting against the establishment. And what you said is true, their ideologies are killing us. Quite literally.
""it's the economy, stupid"
Remember that quote from the 1992 election?
I would mention that many of the votes for Trump came from
people scared about losing their jobs.
In 1992 Ross Perot ran against NAFTA.
In 2012 many workers rebelled against Romney and Bain Capital who shipped their jobs out of the country.
And then you had Clinton supporting NAFTA, TPP, etc.
So in 2016 workers rebelled big time and voted for Trump.
For all the perepheral issues the question of jobs broke through Clinton's firewall to win the rust belt for Trump.
Now I have no clue how many long haired men actually supported each candidate. But it was the economy that was the driving issue in this election.
"Who said it's the economy stupid?
It's the economy, stupid. "It's the economy, stupid" is a slight variation of the phrase "The economy, stupid" which James Carville had coined as a campaign strategist of Bill Clinton's successful 1992 presidential campaign against sitting president George H. W. Bush."
Very true. It was also about the Affordable Care Act. It affected a lot of people in a negative way and the Obama administration and Hilary Clinton did not address their concerns and fears.
Of course, the law helped some people too. But it is far from perfect.
Understood, but one thing I want to point out and this pertains to Men in the U.S. who currently wear their hair longer.
longer haired men under the age of 60 overwhelmingly supported Trump while those over the age of 60 who still embrace left of center ideology did not. there are exceptions to both, but unlike the era of the `60s and `70s Long hair on men is no longer associated with the left, but center-right.
if you were to take a survey on American Men with long hair you would come to the same conclusion.
There is quite a cultural difference between we Europeans and Americans, but in both, long hair is the symbol of the modern day Romantic (like the ones in the 1820's and thereabouts who reacted against both the old regime of the 18th century and the French Revolution) who revolts against authority when it is opposed to the objectives of justice and the common good. We are rebels against institutions that brought war and financed tyranny, whether in Europe in the 1930's or the "head-choppers" in the Middle East.
The left has become the right and the right has become the left. It is all the same, whether democrat or republican, conservative or labour, capitalist or socialist. I too am through with establishment politics and would welcome a "system reboot", preferably without anyone being killed, but all the bad and corrupt people going to prison and getting their heads shaved - men and women alike.
I am a late baby boomer, born in 1959, but I identify with the younger generations with freer thought than those who perhaps did not fully understand their combat in the 1960's (when I was a little child in northern provincial England).
I am wary of Trump, the unpredictable and vulgar billionaire, but his message was one of running down a system that was promoting war, exploitation of poor people, imperialist occupation of countries in other continents, the economic and human consequences of globalism and unelected bureaucracies. He is likely not to keep his electoral promises, but he might. Ordinary folk need jobs to live, and someone has to do something. The problem of all those immigrants pushed out of their countries by western atrocities and inhumanity needs to be solved at the root. Will Trump do it? I don't know, but someone has to.
Our long hair remains a symbol of revolt and our being ourselves, and that something is wrong with the "mainstream" establishment. Keep it growin'
Anthony
I watched the whole video, and it appears to be reasonable and accurate. It seems to be an informative cultural backgrounder on the subject of long hair. Thanks for sharing.
