I would think short hair would make you look old.
take a look at some vintage high school year book photos of guys from the 1960s and tell me you don't think the short barber shop haircuts make them look older than they are.

I think long hair is more youthful.

also, notice the hairstyles on the girls in the photos made them look like their Mothers. probably not a good look for a young lady to have imho unless their goal was to look 40.

: Yet, as I grow older now, I'm 33. I'm feeling long hair is making me old and I no longer even take the time to brush it out everyday. The only thing that is making me hesitant, is I have no idea how to take care of short hair. Whats the best style for me, or how to ask the stylist to cut it. I'm basically trying what worked for me in my 20s.
: I know of the 2 week rule. I last cut my hair in 2011 on a whim and regretted it.
