: Some of you may know that I’m really into cycling. One of the pro cyclists I follow is Peter Sagan. He’s an unbelievable talent but why I’m posting about it here is the fact that he has now become a longhair. I’ve followed his hair growth on Facebook, expecting at any time to see the locks cut, but now he’s well past the awkward stage and his hair looks fantastic. Just do an image search and you’ll see it.

: The article I’m linking to is interesting as it not only highlights his life and rise in cycling but has this:
: “And then there is the long hair, definitely not a trend among Slovak men. His family disapproves, but Peter just wants to be different, a rebel.”

: So great to see someone in his position who is willing to stand out and perhaps help to undo prejudice directed at longhaired men! I’ve seen him wear it in various styles under his helmet when cycling. He wears buns a lot – something I’ve still failed to master – and sometimes ponytails. I always wear mine braided while riding.

This seems to be when his hair was the longest.

I've become very disillusioned with bike racing given all the doping scandals. I really have to wonder if the sport has anyone left who is clean.
