Hi All,
I'm having great difficulty figuring out what to do with my hair for my wedding. I tend to either leave it down or tie it back into a loose ponytail day to day, but am interested in doing something a bit more formal and well-kempt for the wedding. Any suggestions? I've attached a photo for reference. As you may or may not be able to see, I do have quite a few gray strands that can get a little wild. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
Braided ponytail (done professionally) with some sort of
product to keep the frizzies down worked for me.
The last wedding I attended I just wore my hair down and loose.
I have long hair and refuse to hide it. Also it is all grey now.
What about something like Jared Leto's loose man bun.

Jared Leto's Loose Man BunMan bun, man bun, man bun! A low man bun at the nape of the neck is formal & classy. Look at all the male celebrities rocking man buns. From teenagers such as Michael Jackson's son Bigi (Blanket), Celine Dion's son Rene Charles, to Jared Leto and Casey Affleck (who wore his while accepting his Oscar for best Actor). You cannot go wrong with a man bun.
A French braid; while a regular braid is nice, a French braid is more formal - you could do a simple, straight-up French braid, or go for something more elaborate like you see in some movies or TV shows (History's "Vikings" comes to mind, some of the braided styles on the guys are awesome).
You may not be able to do these yourself, so see if you can find a lady friend who's familiar with buns & braids to volunteer. Last resort, go to a salon and have them professionally done. Take pictures of styles you like that you found on the internet with you, to show them what you would like.
Make undercut and braid your tail.

You have awesome hair, my friend, which deserves to be displayed majestically during your wedding :) There were some very good suggestions but for the love of God please no undercut :( Congratulations on your wedding commitment.Cheers

Ah yes, the boogeyman of the long hair world, the dreaded
undercut.
I like a half tail for more formal events (back left loose, sides pulled back and secured into a ponytail). It's easy, comfortable, simple but elegant, and keeps your hair out of the way but still showing in full.
Congratulations on your wedding.
I would be inclined to go for a low bun or a French/Dutch/herringbone braid.
Another possible option that I saw on TV recently was a loose French braid - I suppose you could call it a deconstructed French braid. It started off like a conventional French, but the segments were gradually looser going back and finished at the nape of the neck, so it looked neat and tidy from the front, but allowed the hair to hang loose down the back - sort of like a French braid mullet if you'll pardon the comparison!
Nice photograph. I happen to be in Greece now. Are you still living in Greece?
