I was shocked to read a thread of two weeks ago. I knew of Ken well for years. He was a fantastic Moderator when I was your president. He ALWAYS let us know when he would be unable to post to this board. Question: Has Ken been heard from since this thread appeared? If not, what's with the apathy?
1. Apparently nobody tried to call Ken? I did and just received the following recorded message: "THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN CHANGED AND THE NEW NUMBER UNKNOWN." (Strange?)
2. Has anyone bothered to go to where Ken lives to inquire of any concern?
3. Has anyone not thought of checking with Kens partner? (Last I knew he had one.)
4. Surely some of you know where Ken works. Anyone bothered to ask them?
5. Anyone asked Larry?
6. Any known friends of Ken?
7. If the above fails, has anyone even thought of calling the local hospitals?
8. For sure, CALL THE POLICE and at least tell them of your concern.
What in the world are you guys waiting for? SF is a mecca of illegals and a defiant "Sanctuary City!" Don't wonder. ACT!

First off I was wondering about you too since we never heard from you in what seems like years! I was concerned something might have happened to you but had no way of knowing since I have no contact info.
As for Ken my last phone conversation with him was late last year so I reached out tonight and did hear back from him via text message.He assured me all is well with him but his work situation and hours have changed so he's been quite busy.I'll leave it at that as he now knows people have been asking about him here.When he gets the chance he will post and put everyone's mind at ease ;) Cheers

Are you going to let your hair get as long as it was when it was its longest? I just loved your long sleek hair man! I still enjoy going back and watching your Youtube videos! Hi Mark,
I have been trying to not pay attention to my hair and just let it grow. It seems like it grows faster when you just ignore it. I have finally gotten it almost to shoulder with all one length hair. I want to try to grow it to at least waist length with blunt ends. I guess we will have to see! April will be 18 months of growth for me.

Sometimes paying less attention does make it seem our hair is growing faster.When you focus on it every hour on the hour that's when your get frustrated thinking nothing is happening.lol.I like your goal of waist length but are you talking about a straight across cut to achieve that blunt style? I always liked that natural "V" shape where if comes to a point:) Anyway long is long so enjoy the journey my friend.Cheers

Yes, I am thinking I want a blunt straight across cut. But I may change my mind when I get to waist length. I also really like the natural "V" shape that forms. But I think the blunt ends only look good on longer(mid-back and below hair). But the "V" shape looks good on any length hair. Of course, here I am talking about men's hair. It is interesting how the Good Lord makes our hair look great naturally. But then we want to mess with His work! And yes, I am definitely enjoying the journey! Take care!

Glad to know of this and yes, I am very relieved to know that Ken is okay as well. The world is so different now and has changed so much since I retired from this board.

Thanks for letting me know of this and you did try. When I got wind of this situation I called information and they gave me Kens phone number to which I got that recorded answer. You would never believe, but I have no Cell Phone, iPad, Pod, Tablet or even a full blown computer nor TV set. For someone like myself it is a blessing this way. More time to compose music and less electronics. I just have a Chromebook that I enter and exit as a guest. (Ha Ha Ha. I am my own guest but I want no part of Google.)
In any event, I hope all has been well with you. For the most part health wise, I have been doing "alright" all things considered. Thank you for asking Scott. With all good wishes-

News Flash: YES, I KNOW. My Chromebook however is not a FULL BLOWN COMPUTER and I am *not* a Google member. Nothing can be stored, saved, uploaded etc. the way I use it.
With that hopefully cleared up, just what were you yourself doing in at least "trying" to find out about Ken to make sure that he was safe and nothing had happened to him?
Wrong. it is a full blown computer (it has a celeron processor, uses the Chrome Operating System.) It is a basic computer.
It should be noted that your internet service provider
tracks everything you do, and you do use google when you post your Youtube videos. And you are served their ads when you visit various sites.

* I KNOW that everything gets tracked. That is a no brainer. I refused to join *Google plus* while everyone else bit for the bait as all of the Sheeple were rounded up for Googles so-called glorious experience. Many now are very sorry for having jumped in. And of my own videos since 2008? These ARE now uploaded at the town library and directly through the *original way* via YT. NOT via Googles plus method! I have nothing stored in one of their lofty clouds. I am also not fond of criminal organizations which Google has proven to be a number of times in the past.
*Here is how it is done. It is very simple.
1. Call information (503) 555 - 1212.) Ask for the state of Ca. and for San Francisco.
2. Give the name of the person you want to contact. This can be done just about worldwide, so in reality there is no excuse in at least "trying" to contact another human being that possibly could have been in trouble.
3. Within a minute you have the number, or find out that the number no longer exists, or has been listed as private. But, at least this is a start.
So see, you could have EASILY tried to find out something "if you really wanted to" despite located many miles away. I live closer, but it is still a very long full day of hard driving to get there. Something like 8-12 hours 500 - 600 miles away) from where I live.
Guess I have heard about enough from you. If you desire to Nit pick with someone else in the future, so be it.......but, stay away from me!!! Again, I desire nothing more to do with you. I am very thankful and relieved that now we know that Ken is safe and well and where he is, which *WAS THE REASON* I posting what I did. I *Wasn't* posting about my Chromebook even if it was currently growing long hair.
You do realize though that google owns You Tube?
That assumes I know his full real name which I don't. You need some of that information to get a phone number.
