Hello guys ! I cant believe that I am closing on 3 years of hair growth. I started my hair journey with a very very short military style buzz, but I always felt like I wasn't being myself 100 percent in a way. I decided to stand as my own person, and despite opposition, focused on what I wanted. I haven't been happier :) I did get a trim last month and it was much needed due to split ends. That set me back length wise about 2 inches. I am going to skip trims at a barber shop here on out. Luckily, my hair seems to grow decently quick and I take Biotin pills daily. I will be turning 38 this year, and the younger guys that work with me are almost all balding. I feel blessed to even have a hairline at this point :) Here is to more years of growth ! Take care all.
Your hair really looks fantastic. Healthy, shiny, thick, perfect. And it seems to have given you a self confidence and happiness which comes through in your posts. You look very handsome as a longhaired man as well. Enjoy!
Hi Patrick,
Thanks for the awesome update! I needed this to inspire me since I'm getting frustrated with my slow-growing hair! You definitely look great with long hair and also look happy and confident! I would have never guessed you are 38 though! Wow! Great genes you have! I would say you are being yourself 100 percent now! Here's hoping you stay away from the dreaded barber and let it flow and grow! Onward and downward my friend! Please take care!

Hey Patrick Brands!
Your hair looks awesome!
I saved a few of the lines of your text because I want to simply say that you are a born long hair. Your very words indicate that you don't just have long hair, you are a long hair. Having long hair is part of your identity, part of who you are. If you were to have continued on the path you were on three (3) years ago then you would not have been completely yourself. That is not to say that you are just your long hair; no, you are more than your hair. However, being a long haired guy is part of who you are and without your long hair you would not be yourself 100%.
Keep growing your hair, Patrick Brands.
By the way, are your kids still growing their hair out long?
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
Your hair looks super. Keep it growing.

Hey Patrick, your hair is looking awesome. And, the beard is killer! John
Your hair looks great! Congrats on 3 years. As for split ends & trims - you must learn the S&D method, otherwise known as Search/Seek & Destroy. All you need is a small pair of sharp scissors (Buy a pair to use only for your hair), and a seat where there is good lighting. You just go through the ends and snip the ones that are frayed/split.
You could also do a 'dusting', in which you just trim the ends by a 1/8 to a 1/4 inch. I haven't been to a salon in over 20 years, I've learned to do my own hair. It's also easier when it's longer. I believe there is a link to Feyes website for cutting/trimming your own long hair, elsewhere on the MLHH website. You might want to consider doing your own.
Patrick, your hair looks hands-down TERRIFIC!!! Regardless of whether your co-workers are balding or not, you have a mane that would make any guy turn green with envy!

Congratulations Patrick, looking fantastic! I agree with what Raymond wrote. Some people are born longhairs, regardless of hair length and you are a born longhair.

Congratulations on 35 monhts! If you still have your hair, you will probably never go bald. Looking good!
I'm bald and must say I always like to see a guy that has hair, and is able to grow it long, I don't feel envious at all but sometimes I think, would you cut some and let me make a wig LOL
Your hair looks awesome !!
Cheers,
