i'm a 21 years old brazilian man.
two years ago i had long hair and had it cutt off. i was obsessed with growing it again. i'd think of it every day and feel unhappy with my looks, because my hair was too short, it looked like something was missing.
the same night i had my hair cut off i had a dream in which i saw myself in some kind of mirror or glass and there was a reflection of me with my hair long as it used to be, then i woke up and saw there was no hair anymore, pretty shocking that was.
i had a buzzcut and regret it, and it was for no reason, one day i just felt an urge to do it, chop it all off. but then again when i look back at it, it was all worthy, many things i did with my life wouldn't have happened wouldn't i have had my hair cut off, like me moving to another town, having a house of my own set up and ready to live and i got many stories to tell.
now it's been 2 years of growing my hair and i intend on growing it until reaching its terminal lenght.
i may post some pics here in the future and see how it progresses
i hope this might inspire someone, although i look terrible right now, but i wanted to post a picture here anyway

First of all, your hair looks awesome, bro. You have a magnificent, gorgeous mane. It looks awesome for two (2) years of growth from a buzzcut.
From what you have said you are a born long hair; you feel incomplete without your long hair.
I'm glad that you are going to grow your hair out to terminal length. I intend to do the same.

Welcome! Sometimes it takes doing some drastic to realize that you weren't just growing your hair long, but were indeed, as Raymond said, "a true longhair"

Welcome to the hyperboard and thank you for the hair pic my friend :) Your still very young and have decades to enjoy being a longhair.To be honest I grew my hair out for the very first time in my early 20s and have kept it long ever since which is quite amazing as that is now over 30 years!I never tired of it after all that time.Anyway thank you again for your participation and please do post again :) Cheers

First of all, welcome to the board! I wish I lived in Brazil! I am sorry to hear you cut your hair! But I don't think you look terrible at al1! I am happy that great things happened when you cut your hair. I did the same thing. One day I just decided to cut my hair after about 2 years growing it. But at least it does grow back. I hope you post some photos in the future when it gets longer. Your picture looks great and you look happy with your hair! Please keep it growing and stay well my friend! No scissors!
