Do they actually allow long hair on men in Russia?
Does Russia have a set of "official" haircuts approved for men like in North Korea?

I hope so. I remember there was a very strong man from Russia named Bruce Khlebnikov who had almost waist length hair. Bruce is still alive, but I’m worried he cut his hair off.
I recall a member here some years ago, named Sergey, who had hair down to (or past?) his butt. He was in Russia too.
He was an inspiration to me, to grow mine as long as possible. Still not there yet!

OK, officially Russia is no longer a communist country, we are something like China (a strange cross between communism and capitalism if you can imagine something like this)
men can wear long hair in Russia as long as they are not employed in the state-owned companies - they have very strict dress code. if you work in a private sector nobody cares about the way you wear you hair.
sad to say, yes, current government have very anti-gay stance and we do have some problems with free speech ...
and thank goodness we are a far cry from North Korea, now, that is a crazy country :)

Not to get political here but this statement is way off base and a very irresponsible thing to say.If it were true then why does Trump speak so strongly against N. As far as for my comments in this thread I feel having a non politically connected president is good for the country.I can only imagine the deep, dark secrets out government keeps from us.My hope in the end Trump is successful and in the process exposes the worst we have in our government.Cheers
