Hey guys it's been quite a while since I posted but wanted to give everyone a short update on myself. I moved back to Mississippi after living in Massachusetts for three years but returned home because things didn't work out for me up north and plus I missed my family. I suffered a light stroke not too long back causing me to have some health issues but I'm improving my health every day and gave up drinking a few months ago so that was a big decision for me bit it's for the better. I am still a long hair but it's at shoulder length now compared to my mid back icon photo but am growing it back to mid back or a little longer like I had it before. My ends were getting rough so I got a huge trim to fix it. Hope everyone new and old are doing good. Oh and I'm 31 years old now.

Great to hear from you and thanks for the update. I hope things work out better now that you have returned home. Keep that hair growing and take care of yourself......31 is much too young to be having a stroke.

Hi Mark, it’s great to see you back at MLHH. I understand your reasons for returning to the South but it was nice that we could get together multiple times while you were up North.
I’ve had to do big chops before. It’s always nice to have healthy ends. I wish you the best on your regrowing to longer lengths.
Congrats on giving up drinking. I very rarely drink myself. There are far better options!

I had cardio issues myself and now I have a pacemaker to help keep my heart rate up.
I'm glad that you have decided to grow your hair back to mid back length or longer. Your long hair really becomes you.

Hey Raymond! Good to see you too dude. Sorry to hear of your health issues as well. I wasn't taking care of myself properly so it was a big wake up call for me but living the best way I can now to make sure it doesn't happen again. I had mid back length hair just a few months ago but my ends were damaged so I cut it back to shoulder length to make my hair healthier again. It's growing back fast though! :) I'll start posting regularly like I used to. Cheers!

I used to smoke and drink a lot in the past. I gave up smoking and only drink once in a while now. I feel a lot better!

Wow! So nice to see you post here again! I must say you still look great and as usual, your hair is also! I am sorry to hear of your stroke, but very happy you are on your way to being well! I am having heart issues as well and the docs want to put a defibrillator in me. I am trying my best to avoid this as long as possible. I am happy to hear you have given up alcohol since I haven't had any since 2000. Glad to hear you're growing that wonderful hair longer too!
But what I really want to know is... is that badass bass playing still going on? Hopefully you haven't let that thing rest! Love hearing you play man! Please stay well my friend and thanks for checking in!

Hey Ted it's good to see you too man. Yeah I'm still jamming on my bass. :) Giving up alcohol has helped my health quitea bit so I know I made the right decision. Sorry to hear you're battling health issues and hope you can feel better soon. Take care brother.

Hi Mark, it's always good to hear from an old timer!(old as in member, not age! At 31, you're still a kid!) I'm glad to hear you're doing better after what sounds like some scary stuff.
I've had to trim from time to time, and I hesitated at first, but you get used it. I'm sure you'll achieve your goals in hair and life easily.
