(aka - Greetings and Salutations)
Been a while for me being on here. What can I say, life is what it is.
Was inspired to post something when I stepped out of the shower this evening, glanced across at the mirror, and realized my hair has apparently been inching downward when I wasn't looking. The longest parts seem to be approaching the backs of my knees, or at least mid-thigh. Now I'm going to have to track down my camera to see if I can get photographic evidence.
Other than that, life continues pretty much as usual. Working for the DC Metro subway system, stuck on the graveyard shift, and hating an overly long commute. May be moving soon, so we'll see if that helps out my commute, at least.
In better news, family is largely doing well. My three boys have all become fine young men, and have two wonderful grandchildren that I don't get to see as much as I'd like (I know, typical grandparent complaint, LOL).
Oh, and more apropos to the site, turns out I'm not the only long-hair in the family. I'd known that one of my brothers *had* waist-length hair many moons ago, but saw a recent picture of him, and he's grown it out to about what the ladies would call "bra-strap" length.
Anyway, my best to all of you, hope to check in more often.

Wow! How long have you been growing? :)
Damn. Just did the math... 15 years. By ten it was past my beltline, and it's been going in little bits further ever since, but slow enough for periodic surprises like the one that inspired my post. Every time I think it's finally hit terminal, a little while goes by and I find out, maybe not.
Impressive growth! How do you wear it on a daily basis?

Thanks for the update about your life and hair. Thats impressive that youve reached close to knee length! How about that update photo?!
Like I said, as soon as I track down my camera. If you saw my "office", you'd understand, LOL.
Another member of the 'old guard' returns! Nice to hear from you, Jim. I've been in lurk-mode for quite a while, but do enjoy popping back in from time to time. Glad to hear all is well with you and yours. Take care.
Warm regards,
Val
