I guess u could kinda say I'm back in the awkward stage. I had a lot of damaged hair that was staying short on the side of my head after years of growth-I figured I was going bald years ago and this was part of it but after almost 20 years of hair thinning that really hasn't gotten any worse I decided to shave the short hairs on the side of my head that wouldn't reach a ponytail and give it another go while taking hair vitamins and moisturizing my head (and no more hairdryers). Because the back and top of my head has long hair that I wear down, it covers over a lot of this but what I've found helpful at times to keep my hair out of my face (like when I'm at the GYM) are these elastic headbands.
I posted about them earlier and it seems like the site I bought them from has malware, so the link below is to a different seller on Amazon that sells something similar to what I have and supposedly they're Japanese. Go SAMURAI!!
