Well, I bought a hooked ponytail cuff from a motorcycle site (link below and picture attached). There's a flexible hook on the inside so that any ponytail elastic could be used. I put this on like a regular ponytail holder with the cuff attached and let it fall to the side of my hands while I tied this. Then after it was tied I put the cuff on top of the ponytail but it wouldn't stay on top when I shook my head (it would stab my neck).
Maybe it's too loose or I'm just doing this all wrong and you slip the cuff hook over the tied ponytail? Any suggestions?
