I'm thinking about Minoxidil use for my thinning head back because of traction alopecia-I wore ponytails everyday for 18 years (even at night) which I'm reading is a no-no. My brother used it years ago for male pattern baldness and said your hair falls out if you don't use this for the rest of your life. My reason for using this medicine is because of a tight ponytail which my brother never had but would this just jump start my hair growth or make my head dependant on it?
