Hello Everyone,
I am thinking about trimming just to shorten my length. My hair length is past my belly button. I cannot seem to decide. I am thinking 2 to 4 inches. In the scope of life this is a trival decision and. I shouldnt be that concerned.

Hey Darrin,
My recommendation is: Don't do it!
If you were to trim your hair four (4) inches that is about eight (8) months of growth.
There is so much you can do with your hair that it would not be a inconvenience:
1. Braid you hair half the length of your hair, split the lower half of your hair into two (2) braids. You could tie the two (2) braids in front of you.
2. Make a big manbun.
3. Braid your hair its entire length. Hide your braid under the back of your shirt while you are at work and/or school and for times when you want to keep your hair out of the way. After these times you still have your hair to do with what you want and to simply let it flow freely.
I would not cut your hair.
Your long haired bro,
Raymond
Thanks for your logical input Raymond. I will definitely take your advice and rethink my decision.

Hi Darrin,
you can always shorten it at any later point, when you are really sure about it. My goal at the moment is to keep a long length, so I'm biased, hahaha :D I only trim if it is necessary (damaged ends). One time I trimmed the front hairs by about 1 to 2 inches and afterwards I regret cutting off so much. I will try to stretch out trims and only trim half an inch or less.
Also you can trim just about one inch and then if you really want, do another trim about one inch.
However you decide, I wish you all the best!
Take care,
Philip
Hi Philip,
I appreciate your advice. Your right in that I can trim when I am sure. I too have regretted trimming a couple of inches of my hair in the past. Thanks,
Take Csre,
Darrin
