: So, if I try to dye my hair is it possible this non-chemical plant based dye is going to damage my hair? Back in May it was so damaged that I looked like I was going bald in the back but not so much now as it is slowly recovering with the help of oils. I attached a picture so you can see the color differences between my beard and hair.

: Hey Marty!

: Thanks for the pic. Your hair looks awesome!

: I don't think that this non-chemical plant based dye is going to damage your hair. It is your hair, however, my recommendation is that you forget the dye and just let your hair and beard grow naturally.

: Your long haired bro,

I think you're right-forget the dye. I was wondering if there was some way to get the dyed beard to match my undyed hair and I don't think that's possible unless you have jet black hair. Even if I dyed my hair with that beard dye, the dye takes differently on the coarse beard hairs as opposed to the thin hairs on my head and that's a trial an error process of finding the correct times on the head and the time on the beard. A guy with long hair is going to have to live with those errors for years since he probably won't cut his hair anytime soon like somebody with short hair. So giving up on the dye altogether would solve that problem. Just hope nobody calls me Santa!!
