Hi Guys, like Guilherme S, I also haven't posted in quite awhile. Here is my progress. It seems to grow a bit slower than most, but still getting there. Somebody told me it would take about 10 years to get to waist length. So I still got about another two years to go. Keep well everybody. Lance

You hair looks great! I am fond of the length myself. The longest my hair has reached was belt length. I find anything longer than belt length is to long for me. Just my preference.

thank you for the positive comments. I must say, from your latest pic, I think your hair looks amazing! You are lucky to have hair that grows so well. At this point I can only dream of reaching belt length, but slowly getting there.

Lookin' great my friend, it seems that your hair has more loosen curls than mine. I guess it's all about genes from our ascendants that makes the difference (My family has a great abundance of hair and no one has MBP) on our terminal lengths.

Hi Guilherme, thanks for the comments. Much appreciated. On my fathers side there was quite a bit of MBP, but my grandfather on my mothers side had a full head of hair till the day he died. I read somewhere that you need to look at the men on your mothers side. On the other hand if all your family has a great abundance of hair, all the better!

That's dedication. You both have excellent hair BTW, even though you have different textures.
I'm curious: Did either of you (Lance, PhilipZ) experience a significant change in your hair's texture/behavior/curl-pattern during the time you've been growing it out?

My hair is quite straight when short. But then gets a funny curl when I start growing it. Becomes very awkward in the difficult stage. Then settles down with a more soft curl. After that it seems the longer it gets, the easier it is because the weight of it so it doesn't stick up in odd places. But I still put a little conditioner on it every day to keep it more manageable.

thank you for your compliment! Your hair looks very nice. I just noticed your question! No I didn't notice a big change in texture, my hair has always been pretty straight. Just a smaller change: When it was roughly shoulder length, it was naturally more springy and more voluminous. Voluminous hairstyles were easier. Later at waist length, hip length, it was naturally more flat on the head, dragged down by its own weight. Voluminous hairstyles are still possible but not so easy. I hope this helps :)

Nice to see past board users come back to be part of the community again:) I have to admit your hair looks amazing!Love the length,color, and texture as it all works so well together.If you can make it to waist length that would be awesome but even now you must be pleased.My own hair, I feel, has reached terminal length so I'd say mid back is it for me.I'm happy with that and the fact I have a full head of hair.Please stop back again and don't be shy about posting more pics.Cheers

Thank you for the compliment. My hair has its days. But, yes I am very pleased with it. I wish it grew faster and that I grew it out ling ago, but, like you, I am also very pleased to have a full head of hair. I live in hope that it will one day reach waist length, but I am enjoying the journey and will be happy what I can achieve. I think the important thing, for me, is to be finally having a go at it.
