Hi guys, here's a pic of me, with my long hair, which has been a part of me for the past 20 years. The last time I had a "men's hair cut" is 1999.
My long hair has followed my life's ups and downs, and went through cycles of bad and good hair days with me. Along the way, it was trimmed and I underwent hair loss - losing significant thickness, due to poor maintenance and neglect.
Having been with me for a better part of my life, this is where my hair is at now. I plan to grow it even longer after it becomes thicker.
Keep growing too, guys!
Looks good! Looks like u could put it in a braid pretty easily. Ever tried?

Yes Marty, always. Either a single braid down my back, down either side, or two braids down both sides :).
Absolutely beautiful Jin! the length is wonderful and hopefully the thickness will return to a level you deem worthy.
I remember your old youtube videos (if I am not mistaking you), glad that you kept your mane after all those years!

Remember your posts here in years past, and also your YouTube videos. Back then, you were about to enlist in the Singapore army, if memory serves. Lost track of you, and wondered what happened to you. Glad you are back here posting again.
Hi buddy, you got it all right. 1999 was the last time I was needed to serve in the military, that was why I had the opportunity to get my hair really long.
It's been a good 15 years since I last posted on this board, and you, and the board hasn't changed a bit! Really fabulous!

Of course I remember you. If I remember correctly you were studying to be an engineer and worrying whether the army would want you and require your hair to be cut. Your hair looks nice and thick to me.

Jim, I recalled we exchanged private email messages with each other, keeping each other posted about our hair growth journey. How are you doing, still keeping your hair long?
Yes we did. I am alright. Unfortunately my hair has a distressingly short terminal length. About nipple length max.
when pulled straight (its wavy). So I've occasionally tried
different hair styles some shorter some longer but never so
short I couldn't have a pony tail. Lately its thinned quite
a bit but we just do the best we can with what we have.
I recall a saying here that it is always better to have hair than to have none :). I'm sure you still look great!

I remember you well and found your posts always to be inspirational. Glad to see you still have your long hair.
I went for terminal a couple of times and got to lower back but then got fed up with the damage to the ends as my hair is fine in texture. I got it cut about to shoulder length last summer but haven't cut it since. I plant to grow it out again probably to mid-back or so.

Hi Rick, it is always sweet for guys on this board who remembers me, thanks :). Please pardon me for not remembering you as I've been away for far too long.
During the time I was away, I dated, got married, spent 2 years in the USA, had 2 kids, my boy grew his hair long to his waist before gotten it cut for primary school (which is mandatory in Singapore), and my girl's hair is now near her waist. I also found a job in a University and then now, facing the prospect of losing it :'(. This is how I am doing ;).
