Hello again mlhh. Going for my 3rd and final long haired journey. Wish me luck ! It has been 11 years since I cut my hair to support my family after losing employment. Not looking forward to the awkward phase but I am determined. Not as many long haired dudes here as when I posted 11 years ago. I will try to encourage others as others have encouraged me. Just to let younger dudes know. Even at 49 I still get rassed and harassed about starting to grow it long again. But at this point in my life. I really don’t care. I usually tell the wise crackers “you don’t have the balls or guts to grow your hair long”

Thank you For the compliment. I too think it will look good. Unfortunately since I’m in construction I will probably have to shave it to wear a respirator sooner or later .

Can you wear a respirator with a beard that is kept short?
Any alternatives besides shaving the beard?
There is an alternative, a full face mask which still would conform to regulations. Might just have to sport a gotee.
