: Hi Guys, apologies I have been absent for awhile. I am moving to Sydney from Cape Town in South Africa. I will be looking for a job in Sydney as an urban designer/ architect. I will also look for jobs anywhere in Australia. I will take whatever opportunities come my way. I am 59 years, so that could count against me. Plus being a newcomer. Currently, I have been working for myself, so my hair hasn't been an issue. I have been growing it out for more than 10 years I think. Its slow progress, but I think still growing. My dilemma has been if I should cut it for the job search in Australia or not. I have decided not to cut it. Just neaten it up a bit (trim the ragged ends) and then tie it back. Also, dress very neatly. But, continue to grow it. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you. Lance

I would think that your hair would not be an issue. I would just wear it in a neat pony tail at the interviews. I am a Technician and never had an issue finding a job due to my hair. I am 54 .
