It's not so much a new length goal, but just a goal to increase the fullness and volume of the ends of my hair: I have been at about butt length for a few years now but I trim occasionally to keep it around all the same length so it "looks" longer even though it is the same. Does that make sense? A small number of stragglers which are longer just would make it look thin... I like the look of having the ends blunt cut straight across.
