God, I saw this guy recently-- I had a crush on him since I was a very young teenager and he had a short-cut back then. He had such beautiful hair, I almost died! It was almost down to his waist, and it was this beautiful chocolate-brown indoors, and it was sparkly gold/red in the sunlight. I was so HORMONAL that I couldn't sleep for a few nights after I saw him!
Point to my story: DON'T YOU GUYS EVER CUT IT OFF!
It doesn't seem like most teen girls like teen guys with longer hair for some reason. That damn short highlight thing is their cup of tea it seems like.
Why are people so judgemental? They have to label everything because of their own lack of emotional security in this world.
There are exceptions. I have a couple of 16 year olds at the moment who are quite fond of it.

They *learn* to dislike long hair on guys. It's peer group pressure,
I've recently learned. Twenty years, or maybe even 10 years ago,
teen girls were enthralled with neatly-coiffed long-haired guys.
Again, it may have been group pressure to *learn* that value. Longer
hair was common on guys. The teen years are very impressionable, and
those current teen girls will still dislike long hair on guys when
they themselves are in their twenties and beyond. In the meantime,
it looks like long hair on guys is sl-ow-ow-owly coming back, and
when it becomes common with teen guys, I think social pressure will
diminish in teaching teen girls that long hair on guys is wrong. We
will have come full circle. I believe that the *un*learned attitude
of women and girls toward long hair on guys is to like it, or to
accept it with no value one way or the other.

Those girls who hate long hair on guys will grow up and become moms who hate long hair on their sons. Then we'll be back in the '60s and '70s all over again. Every generation has to invoke "payback" on the last.
Yes, I remember the sensation very well: The guys I lusted after in 10th Grade during the mid-1970's, primarily for the way their long, lusturous hair tumbled over the back of their blue jean jackets as they sat in the first row. The number of times I fell in love by gazing at the back of some guy's head!
Reminds me about the way I feel too, especially in the presence of an exceptionally good longhair. Why not post a picture -- front view, side view and back view) of this fine specimen (with his permission of course) for all of us to enjoy.

Yes, I know how you feel. When I see a man with long hair, I get breathless. The best is when they wear long thick curly hair. You just want to grab them and run your hands through their hair. If you haven't ever grown your hair really long, get a man with long hair, because you can live through his hair vicariously.
