Ok chaps, It's not growing fast enuf
any of you have any knowledge of what makes hair grow faster? be it tips or vitamins or somthing? anything and everything
i heard using plain ol peanut-butter will make ur hair grow because of the protien that's in it, just get a hand full and rub some in ur head before bed than wash it out when u wake up, try that for about a month to see if it works for you,,,
YUK!!! Peanut butter in your hair, the thought of it makes me want to hurl!
I suspect that previous post was just a joke. However, believe it or not, there is a good reason for using peanut butter in your hair. It relates to lice.
Lice are becoming resistant to commercial lice shampoos, such as RID and PRONTO. Some have taken to using a more physical or physiological approach to getting rid of the lice: suffocating them. What you do is to coat the entire scalp with Vaseline. Then wear the Vaseline-coated hair in a shower cap for a couple days, thus smothering the lice. Unfortunately, there is a big problem with Vaseline. It is extremely difficult to remove from hair. Enter peanut butter. After the Vaseline has been in the hair for the requisite period, apply the peanut butter to remove the Vaseline. The peanut butter is then easily removed with normal shampoo.
I have not tried the above technique, but I have read about it in an extensive search on the topic when there was a serious lice epidemic going around the elementary schools here. The problem was eventually resolved with the cooperation of the schools and the parents. At school, the nurses inspected all the students. Infected children were sent home and not allowed to return until properly treated. Common areas were redesigned to prevent contamination. For example, backpacks were required to be placed in plastic bags before being stored at the side of the classroom. Parents whose children had had lice inspected their children's hair after treatment on a daily basis for several weeks.
Chewing gum works a lot better.
OH BOY! Use two pillows and you can be a peanut butter sandwich.
