I thought I'd have a picture by now, but it was underexposed. However, I want to post the description anyway. I'll get a picture this weekend, I hope.
Instructions:
1 Put your hair into a pony tail, with the holder somewhat loose, that is, not snug against the head. This play helps facilitate the next step.
2 Bend your head over so that the pony tail is pointing straight up into the air, and spread the hair evenly, radiating away from the holder, and then, with the help of gravity, back over the holder.
3 Take one hand and hold this hair so over the holder and while doing so, tie another holder over this layer (if you have short hair, stop here for a unique fan-shaped style).
4 Put your head back up, pull the hair back and tie in a pony tail again. You have just formed what I like to call an onion.
5 Keep just one onion or repeat starting at step 2. Form as many onions in a row this way as you wish. The result is much shorter hair.
6 After having worn your hair in this multiple onion style for a while (also read, when you get bored of this style) take the end of your pony tail and pull. This will cause the insides of the onions to pop, creating little sausage-like bumps all down the pony tail.
7 You will now have loose pony tail holders within each bump. You may wish to remove them. On the other hand, they are completely surrounded by hair, so you can simply leave them if you wish.
If you try this style, let me know how you like it.
I just tried it briefly and was a little surprised at how well it worked. It worked a little better for me to use a "scrunchy" as the first holder, although it is more difficult to pull it all out that way.
I don't understand your instructions in the first part of the instructions. Could you re-word them for me, and send them. i'd like to try your hairstyle.
thank you
