Hi my name is steve, I love to read all the guy rolling their hair.
I think its cool and takes alot of guts to do this. I think its great
that you guys can do somethings like that. Well I've been thinking
about doing getting my hair washed and set and dried. Well I have
a problem though I have short hair about 2inches. Is it possible to
get a roller set with hair as short as mine. Or do you think I can
get a perm with just alittle wave or no wave at all to give me alittle
body. I would like to hear from anyone for advice on what I should do
And I would know what all is involved in a perm and roller set. and how long each one take. I would really like some advice from everyone.
Thanks steve
2 inches? You'll be lucky if you can put a curliing iron through it. Wait a few months, give your hair some room to grow. And whatever you do, DON'T GET A PERM if it's less than, say, shoulder length. The result will leave your hair bushing out all over the place.
steve:
2 inches is short, but a roller set will bring your hair to life with lots
of curl & body. it's definitely do-able but if your hair is stick straight
you may want to have a significant other or preferably a stylist do
it. also without a perm for support if you have straight hair, in hot
humid weather the set may sag after several hours. my hair has
to continue: i've had hair between 2 to 4 inches and never had
a problem setting it but always had a perm for support. i always
loved the results and blowdrying could never come close. if you
have hair with body magnetic rollers set in brick-layer pattern will
give you the most natural body & brush rollers the most pouffy-done
look. also if hair is fine a good setting gel will help hold the style for
2 to 3 days.
i'm sure you'll like the results and have fun in the process.
