A few days ago I posted a message about the problems I had with my hair as it is growing out. One suggestion, which was a good one, was to trim it up to keep it in shape while it grows out.
I thought it sounded good so on Saturday, I went to get it trimmed. The salon was supposed to be good, so I didn't worry that the stylist would ever do anything wrong.I simply said trim it up a little on the sides and back..........
When she took the sissor and cut a chunk about four inches long from above my ear I just about freaked. When I commented, she said it would be fine, she just had to even out on the other side, which she did, Ah!
At this point I said stop! To try to fix what she had done and to make my hair look somwhat normal, she trimmed about two inches off my bangs and tapered the area over my ears. The upshot is I now have one of the most complete 80s mullets you have ever seen.Almost sholder lenth in back, clipped up over my ears on the side and average lenth onthe top.
What the hell do I do now?
Hi Rob, my wife had waist length hair when she walked into a Fantastic Sam's, she came out with shoulder length hair and very upset. She asked as you did to have a "trim". The hair cutter took it upon herself to define "trim". Always, always, say, "I'd only like a 1/4 inch taken off etc." My wife was in complete tears, so we went back there the following day and got her money back. That's all you can really do. The hair will grow back in time, hang in there.
