Folks,
I came across this site and its product for us Longhairs.
http://www.tailcuff.com/
Has anyone tried this product? How functional is it? The cuff comes in two sizes, what has been your experience in which size working best.
I appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Madoc
When I bought three of them, about four years ago, they were called something else -- pony rings or something -- but designed and made by the same guy. I didn't find them at all functional (the ring/cuff did not take the place of an elastic or string tie), and I didn't expect them to be. I bought them strictly for decoration and IMHO they looked fine. They're a way to dress up a pony tail in a "ruggedly handsome" (or if you prefer, "masculine") appearing way. The owner, John, is extremely service oriented and was very anxious to please. The products themselves are of excellent quality (my opinion again) and well worth the money. He didn't have two sizes when I bought mine. If he did, I think I would have opted for the smaller size, since my hair ain't all that thick. Good luck.
. . . JP in san diego.
I bought one after someone posted the site a while back. I really
like it and get positive comments on it.
Only down side is the small Goody band inside has the metal on it.
Just noticed Goody is copying the Chinese company that has pony tail
ties without metal...but Goody makes the thin ones without metal.
Maybe I could change it out.
I bought the large one since my hair is thick. Its challanging to
put on when my hair's still wet. Recently tried a new look that worked pretty well. Wore the tail cuff with matching color ties above and below it. It sort of set it off.
Worth the price even if you only wear it now and then.
