OK I have been growing a afro since June 1999 and it seems not to grow.I was wondering what to do.I can't order over the net,so can someone help me.I want to get my hair braided but it will not grow enough for me to braid.Now it has been almost a year.If you could help I would be most grateful.

Chris, does that mean you have not experienced the average half-inch-a-month growth; that your hair is not five inches longer than it was in June 1999? Five inches of length is already long enough to begin braiding--by someone who is experienced in braiding. Where are you located? I will try to help with a local resource for you.
Only problem is my hair is only a inch and a half.I am thinking about putting aloe in my hair.And everybody I go to says they can't grip my hair.
