When I put my hair in a pony tale I have a few strands that fly in my face. I use hair spray told them back. I have been doing this for about six months. My few strands that get in my face never seem to grow beyound the "Hair Spray " length what is the problem? Are they breaking and if so what can I do to keep it from breaking off.
If you seem to always have about the same number of strands, that is because they are strands of hair that have started regrowing after being in the natural pause state. Each hair folicle has a rhythm of
grow, fall out, rest, start again. Your hair will never be "all one length" there will always be a few stragglers.
Your pony tail holder might be breaking the strands. do you use elastics or barrettes? If elastic switch to a wider, covered elastic without any metal clips on it. If barrettes, paint the sharp edges with several coats of clear nail polish to round off the metal edges (really best not to use these at all, sorry to say). And, of course, never use plain rubber bands!
