How do I get my hair to stick up in long spikes like an opld-school punk? I only need it for a few hours so ANY tips would be appreciated (excluding semen, like SOMEONE suggested!!!!)
I've seen it done with just hairspray and a blowdryer. Section your hair and work with one section at a time. Comb the section smooth, spray it heavily, and form the spike shape with your hand. Then blowdry it while holding the spike extended. ( If your hair is really long, you may need help with this.) It takes a lot of spray.
Don't forget the hair near the scalp, it'll droop without a good, stiff base. Be careful around flames, hairspray is really flamable until it's dry.
Mousse or gel would probably work too, and I understand a strong mix of unflavored gelatin in water is very good and lasts a while. But hairspray would be fastest drying.
Whatever you choose, test it before the "big night" :)
My son's buddies use egg whites.
Sugar dissolved in water might do it. Seriously. Experiment with the dilution.
