  I have a ten year old son. He wears a bowlcut. I feel he should get a buzzcut or something real short. My wife Cheryl disagrees. Cheryl says no, that bowlcuts are in style for little boys. Cheryl has no fashion sense whatsoever. She has her hair all up in little curls, gelled and combed back.

      This seems a really strange thing to be discussing on a public info board. Can't your son decide for himself the sort of haircut he wants? I don't think it is right to say he "should" have a buzz, or indeed a bowl cut - there is no need for him or you as parents to conform to anyone elses ideas of what is "right" for a boy of ten.

        Taking the recent events into consideration, I have to say that we are being bothered yet again by a spy from the buzz board! Here's a solution for the kid's hair, let him grow it out, nice and long!! Considering the board on which that message was posted, I can't think of a more appropriate response.

I'm surprised that its not like the last two storys where the boy, who has long hair is going to be bullied to get a headshave after school is out by his parents.
