While waiting in an airport recently, I was scanning the magazine stand and I came upon a cover story about the Hanson Brothers: three brothers (ages 11, 14, 16) who have become a musical group and are becomming popular...pupular enough to get on the cover of a magazine anyway.
All three brothers have long, blonde hair to somewhat below chin length. I read some of the article, and they are considered by many to be quite a "wholesome" bunch, a musical group that even conservative Christians would like. (The brothers are even doing milk ads...can't get much more wholesome than that.)
That being the case, perhaps long hair among the youth will become more acceptable. Let's hope.
