Hi guys for a while i have been cutting my hair short to please my g/f who wears hers long for me(knee length) so i asked her the other night if i could grow mine really long and she said "sure youd look cute with long hair"(wierd cuz she usually hates guys in long hair) well now that i have the green light im not ever cutting my hair again i want it to my chin,then my shoulders,then mid back,then my butt,then past my butt,and finally ill be happy when its at my knees!
i know this is a long time away but i am so exvcited to finally get started if you can give me some tips on how to wash it and condition it and also how to grow it faster for now just till it reaches my shoulders...i cant wait till i ask my g/f to french braid my hair

Congratulations! There's all kind of advice to get -- you post questions later when you have more specific needs. But for now the #1 most important piece of advice that I got from this board is this: DON'T CUT YOUR HAIR! Sounds obvious, right? But just wait until your girlfriend starts asking for trims, or changes her mind....so just remember never to get your hair cut (at least until you can get it all into a ponytail) and you will be a success!
