has anyone tried these? i went to the store today and bought: corrective shampoo and shiner, and glistening creme conditioner... they both say for incredible shine, gloss, smoothness, etc. are these the prodicts i want? i spent 12 dollars on them!!! i'm really feeling overwhelmed by all the different products out there. i almost bought a straightening iron today, con air's straight styles... the one with the misting vents and such. but it was 24 bucks so i decided to wait. but what i really want to know now is, is this shampoo and conditior i bought today he right stuff? it says gets rid of frizz, dryness, dullness, adds shine, alters surface appearance and keeps hair contained and contolled. does this mean when the wind rushes trhough my hair now, it will no longer get wavy? will it fall right back into place like i want it to? will it get rid of the poofiness like i want? it won't add body, will it? i guess this is just a game of trial and error. An EXPENSIVE one at that. thanks....
since you already bought them, try them out & let US know. i've never tried any of those products.
Hey I've uesd them be4!!! It sure add shine and your hair won't get so puffy and dry! But I recomment you not to use it's serum as straightening balm coz it doesn't work well! If u really want the superflat non-wavy look like Gwyneth Paltrow and those people I highly recomment you get some STRAIGHTENING BALM and Iron and do as I told you! But I think u can try those thing u brought first coz maybe your hair is different than mine! Let us know how it come out!!
The Frizz-ease products are silicone-based and do indeed ad a teflon slipperiness to the hair strands. Be sure and have skid-protection in your shower, it's tough to rinse off the tub and you might find yourself slipping a lot in there, especially from the "syrum". I have to say that the products don't moisturize - in fact, I prefer the oil-based conditioners, but my own hair is porous and others might enjoy more benefit than I from this stuff.
I've tried a few of their products. The serum did not impress me... yes, it makes your hair shiny. However, it also takes forever to dry and has a (to me) very unappealing sticky texture. I have also tried their 'secret weapon' creme, which works quite well for taming frizz- I occasionally use it on the ends of my hair to make it lie down and behave. I recently bought a bottle of the glistening creme conditioner and *love* it... for my hair at least, it is very good for giving a smooth, glossy appearance. Of course, you'll have to try all the products yourself to see how they work for your hair in particular. Good luck.
