I have only ever found one product that works for any type of hair, fine,coarse,normal,greasy etc, you get the idea. It's called "UNICURE HAIR & SKIN CONDITIONER" it came out during the early 1970's and was a huge hit with people who had long hair. Unfortunately, the company fell into obscurity but it is still around, if you have never had the pleasure of using this product do yourself and your hair a huge favor this is something you won't regret. I found their product through the internet at www.unicure.com and now they are selling it in Kmart.
Remember, shampoo has only one job to do and that is strip dirt, oil, environmental debris and styling products from your hair so choose one that is gentle so that it will not dry out your hair and please whatever you do don't use 2 in 1's and always condition!!!!!!
Some people's hair can handle 2 in 1's. In fact my hair is in it best condition when I use one.

my guess would be that you are one of the few... considering most of what i've heard about 2in1's (as well as my own experience) has not been all that great. one might also wonder why pert® keeps marketing its product based on the notion that it's improved... each of us has differences in our hair and it is good that the 2 in 1's work for some people.
My hair is very straight, kinda on the oily side, fast-growing and healthy. Note, I might change my opinion, as my hair has never gotten below my chin.
